Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
I've noticed that a lot of folks are Constitution crazy, lately (myself included); and, our government seems to be trying their best to destroy the democracy, to which We the People are entitled. But, what about the Declaration of Independence? No one ever mentions that document, anymore. And it's just as relevant today, as it was in 1776!
Excerpt - “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (“men” should be changed to “citizens”, because women matter too) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Everyone knows what rights are; but do you know what unalienable means? It means "not transferable to another, or not capable of being taken away, or denied; inalienable". And, for the last 50+ years, the United States government has been doing it's best to take away the rights of We the People, little by little.

Here's how our basic rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are being stripped away....
Life - the existence of an individual human being or animal
Liberty - the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.
Happiness - the state of being happy
Life - the existence of an individual human being or animal

| In the United States, this is not possible for most people. |
- Every single American citizen has the right to be alive. Yet, within the last 50+ years, our government has steadily made it more and more difficult for some of us to exist.
- Healthy food is not only nutrient deficient (poor soil quality, GMOs, use of synthetic chemical pesticides/herbicides), it's also more expensive than processed food
- And everyone is getting sicker.
- Health insurance is too expensive, and doesn't cover nearly as much as it needs to
- Pharmaceutical drugs are too expensive, as well
- The NRA continues to lobby in favor of putting high capacity magazines, and semi automatic/automatic weapons, in the hands of rageaholics; who then use them to commit mass murder

- Where do I begin? We do not live in a free country! The United States government is all about imposing oppressive restrictions on us; constantly interfering with our way of living, our behaviors, and our political views. And it's getting worse!
- We need permits or licenses to do everything, from running a business, to holding a yard sale, to getting married, or going fishing; and our children now need business permits to run lemonade stands, mow lawns and shovel snow!
- The law books continue to get thicker; while the jailhouses and prisons continue to be overcrowded with non-violent criminals
- Feeding the homeless is illegal; as is living off-grid, and collecting rain water
- Women aren't allowed bodily autonomy, anymore
- Marijuana is still illegal, at the federal level; and with most state governments
- Nobody's allowed to have opposing political/social views, anymore; have you noticed?
- The folks who want the government to do its job, and take care of the less fortunate, are called “snowflakes”, or "Libtards", because they care about others
- Grown folks are behaving like toddlers, calling each other names, when they discuss politics (We the People should know better)
- Issues that should've remained PRIVATE (abortions, same-sex relationships, etc) are causing a political divide among us

- There is no happiness for We the People; only for Corporate America and the Billionaire Class. The rest of us are miserable; we're hungry, sick, struggling financially, terrified, under educated, and some of us are homeless.
- As often as the United States is touted as “the greatest country in the world”, shouldn't we be living up to the hype?? The very governance our Founding Fathers fought against, is the one we're living in, now! Wake up!
- We need to stop allowing the government to rule over us; demanding that everyone practice the same way of life, and believe in the same ideals (politics, religion, parenting, romances, etc). They shouldn't be deciding for us, what we can/cannot do with our own lives and property.
- To insist that everyone believe the same, think the same, and hold to the same way of life is authoritarian, tyrannical and fascist; it is un-American, and not how a FREE country should conduct itself.
- Excerpt from the Declaration of Independence - “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
Wake up!! The Billionaire Class is not the only group of people deserving of the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Every citizen of this country is entitled to those rights, as well; and We the People have more power than they're allowing us to believe! Things won't get any better, if we don't speak up!
We need to declare our independence from the Fascist Oligarchy, now running the country. My fellow Americans, the time is now….
